The SASE offerings in this research provide network and security capabilities to connect and secure distributed users, devices and locations to resources in the cloud, edge and on-premises via a single vendor. In this market, a vendor must own or directly control (OEM, not service chain with a partner) all of the core product capabilities.
This research assesses nine single-vendor SASE offerings from eight vendors, across 12 capabilities and three use cases. An offering may consist of one or multiple products, but it must be a coherent offering that a user can buy (and which the vendor regularly sells). There are substantial differences in capabilities across the offerings; none of the use cases have the same top vendor.
