Cyber incidents are no longer just about data breaches, they have evolved over the years and have become more sophisticated – and more effective at crippling our critical infrastructure, including power grids, hospitals, and financial systems. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Internet Crime Report revealed that 800,944 cyber-crimes were reported in the U.S. in 2022, resulting in financial losses of more than $10 billion. The report also indicated that our losses doubled compared to the previous year, demonstrative of an escalating threat landscape.
